“Cam-AR-a” AR application

Cam'AR'a
Cam'AR'a is an augmented reality experience focused on teaching "How to use a camera" through an interactive mobile application. The app contains a course which lets the user explore the components of the camera. The app shows a Camera's exploded view (DSLR in this case) and gives a brief of each component of the camera and its functions.
Ideation

We started to collect information and understand the aspects that takes to capture a good photograph. Answer is "exposure", by controlling the exposure we can take better photographs . Exposure is controlled by 3 Aspects and they are Aperture,Shutter speed and ISO. And also we searched reference images of exploded view of a camera in internet to know it's internal parts.

Aperture

This is the hole inside the lens, through which the light passes. It's similar to the pupil of your eye, the wider the aperture the more the light is allowed in and vice versa.Simple? Not quite. As the aperture widens, The f/number gets lower and more light is allowed inside the camera

Shutter speed

Once the light has passed through the aperture of the lens, it reaches the shutter. Now you need to decide how much of the light you are going to allow into the camera.
Ordinarily you need to have for a fraction of a second(for example:- 1/250) to prevent motion blur. However, different shutter speeds compliments different situations.
Anything from really fast(1/4000) for sports photography to really slow (30 seconds) fro night photography .
ISO

Once the light has passed through the aperture and been filtered by the shutter speed, it reaches the sensor. This is where we decide how to set the ISO. As you turn the ISO number up, you increase the exposure. But at the same time, the image quality decreases. There will be more digital noise or "grain".
Platform

Considering most of the college students will have a mobile phone. We decided to create in Augmented Reality. Augmented reality is an overlay of virtual objects for example a 3d animated Character kept on the real word captured through a device which had a camera attached to it for example:-A smart phone or a Tablet.
Narrative

We discussed and Visualised through storyboards "How would a user will use this app?"
